Classes:

• Level 1: This class is for dancers who have been introduced to the basic steps and formations and have a basic understanding of progressions. It will focus on improving footwork, phrasing and handing technique and learning new formations. Participants should be able to learn a new dance of moderate difficulty by walking it through from first position, but may occasionally need some help getting through a dance.

• Level 2: This class is for dancers who know the basic steps as well as advanced formations, such as The Knot and Set and Link. It will focus on clean and accurate footwork, phrasing and handing and maintaining a good standard of technique from exercises to actual dancing. Participants should be able to learn a new dance of moderate difficulty from watching someone walk it through from first position, get through most dances without help, and recover from errors within a bar or two.
